🚀 Quick Start

Start / Stop:

Press Start to begin. Use Tap for tap tempo. Use +/- for fine BPM.

Sound:

Choose a click sound (including drum kits / sample kits) from the sound selector.

🎛️ Rhythmic Feel (Groove)

Where it is:

The Feel controls live in the top area (under the main transport row). A small badge indicates when a non-straight feel is active.

Swing / Shuffle:

Use the feel selector for groove types (Straight, Swing, Shuffle variants, etc.).

Half-Time Shuffle Var1/Var2/Var3:

Selecting a half-time shuffle variant automatically:

sets tempo to 115 BPM
uses a triplet grid (2-bar feel)
switches to the kit-halftime sound for a more realistic groove

When you leave a half-time shuffle feel, the click sound is restored to what you were using before.

Microtiming (Laid Back / Pushed / Dilla):

When you choose one of these feels, extra controls appear:

Amount controls how strong the timing offset is
Apply to selects which notes the microtiming affects

🎯 Gap & Random

GAP (Top Controls):

Use the GAP button in the top controls to cycle gap modes.
Bar gap pattern: play X bars with click, skip Y bars (silent), repeat.

Routine Phase Gaps:

In Routine phases, enable Gap to make that entire phase silent.

Random Mute:

Random mute controls are in the top controls area (to avoid duplicated settings in the sidebar).

👁️ Visualizer & Accents

Visualizer editing:

Left-click circles: Normal → Skip (✕) → Visual Only (👁). Right-click: Toggle Emphasis (⭐).

📖 Custom Meters & Subdivisions

Custom Time Signature:

For unusual meters not in the standard list (7/8, 11/8, 13/16, etc.). Select "Custom..." and enter beats and note value.

Mixed/Custom Subdivisions:

Use when different beats have different subdivisions (e.g., 4-3-4-3). If all beats are the same (e.g., 4-4-4-4), prefer the standard subdivision selector.
