Тем временем новая обещалка от Стейта:
Dear FG-X and VCC Slate Customer,
I've been waiting to write you guys again until I had some substantial news, and I'm happy to say that this has happened. On my screen right now I have some consoles of the VCC in our new prototype system, as well as the FG-X's FG-Comp. These are major steps. Once things are approved in the prototype system, they are transferred to the final C++ framework. So there is serious progress here.
Regarding the VCC, some more good news. We've improved our Oversampling in a way that not only optimizes the tone to match the actual console waveforms with the best precision.. but you'll find the CPU is gonna be lower than the current VCC when there is no oversampling! So it'll be a pretty drastic CPU decrease. We still have a goal for a December VCC release. If anything changes that would cause more delay, I will tell you immediately.
FG-X's FG-Level algo is still being tweaked by Fabrice, and every week brings more excitement as the algo develops into what we intend to be the end-all loudness enhancement process. The FG-Comp is being tested in the prototype system as I said, and the meter module is almost ready to go into the system as well. Overall, we're happy about the progress. Until the FG-Level algo is completely done and in our prototype system, I cannot yet give a possible release period, but as soon as I feel that there is enough intelligence to predict an accurate goal, I'll let you know immediately. I will also say that like I initially promised, I am looking for more intermediate solutions, and am investigating one lead right now.
I hope you're all doing well, and I appreciate your support and patience. With our new hires, we're already seeing more productivity and I look forward to getting these updates to you as quickly as we can.
